John Painter qualified as a Chartered Accountant 40 years ago and since then has developed a passion for growing businesses.

In 1991 he joined a small practice in Pershore and Evesham and grew the office from a turnover of £80,000 per annum to £500,000 per annum in 10 years.   This was done by focusing on the clients needs and making the client the centre of everything that was done for them.

Having successfully merged with two other practices of Chartered Accountants he then led the restructuring of the business leaving him as Managing Partner of Crowther Beard LLP from 2005 until 2018 when we merged the practice with Haines Watts Worcester.

In 2021 John set up Worcester Business Advice to support and develop businesses and their owners in creating extraordinary businesses for themselves.

John is experienced in delivering change management, improving leadership and management skills and helping business implement their strategies.
